Dark Chocolate Crumble Cake

Baking Instructions

1 Cream the butter and sugar.

2 Slowly add the eggs one by one

3 Sift and combine the flour, cacao powder 22-24%, baking powder and add the salt and instant coffee

4 Combine milk, water and the vanilla essence

5 Alternately add the liquid mixture and the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and lastly add the chopped dark couverture Maracaibo 65% pieces

6 For Almond Crumble - Cream the butter and both sugars

7 Add the dry ingredients until evenly mixed and just start to come together

8 Crumble onto a sheet pan and chill

9 To Assemble - Pipe 110gr of cake batter per mould, top with 30 gr of the almond crumble per cake. Bake at 180˚C for 30-35 minutes.
